Combe Martin Community Centre

The Community Centre is the former Primary School in the village and when it was no longer needed as a school, Devon County Council passed the stewardship of the building to the Parish Council so that it could be used for community benefit. The Parish Council now operate out of the Community Centre and one of the other rooms is on a long-term hire to the Senior Citizens group who regularly use their room for coffee mornings and social get togethers. The Community Cente is located on Church Street, so right in the heart of the village and a short level walk away from “Cormelles” pay and display car park.

The main part of the Community Centre (which is available to hire) is made up of two inter-connecting rooms with an adjoining kitchen. These rooms are ideal for a variety of uses – from children’s birthday parties, company conferences / staff meetings, training sessions, keep fit classes, in fact the list is almost endless!

The Community Centre benefits from having free wifi throughout, projector screens / equipment, numerous tables and chairs, fully fitted kitchen, wheelchair access, disabled toilets and an enclosed outdoor area, meaning that we can cater for most groups or hirer requirements. We charge a straight forward fee of £8 per hour normally and £10 per hour if you need the heating turned on! If you have any queries please contact the Parish Council office 0n 01271 883403.
