Wildlife Report – January 22nd 2015

jack snipe

There are Jack snipe in Adderstable Woods at present.  If you look just above the trees, just before dusk, you can see them flying around.

As the heavy rainfall lately has turned the sea brown, the Beach has several dippers on it at the moment.  If you look out for them as you walk up Rosea Bridge Lane, you may be able to see them flying above the lane, going ‘peep, peep’, ‘peep’
