On Thursday 4th May 2023 there will be local elections. The first thing to say is that these elections will be the first where you will NEED to show photo ID to vote. More information is available at electoralcommission.org.uk/voterID or on 0800 328 0280. There is a free voter ID scheme for anyone who doesn’t have an acceptable form of photo ID already.
