May 2023 Elections

On Thursday 4th May 2023 there will be local elections. The first thing to say is that these elections will be the first where you will NEED to show photo ID to vote. More information is available at or on 0800 328 0280. There is a free voter ID scheme for anyone who doesn’t have an acceptable form of photo ID already.

25th April – Notice of Poll / Situation of Polling Stations

4th May – Polling Day

5th May – Declaration of Result

9th May – Existing Councillors retire and new Councillors take office

15th May – Annual Meeting of the Parish Council – the new Council meet and elect a Chairman
