We usually try and secure a Christmas Tree to the railings at the sea front, which does impact on its shape and given the windswept location we struggle to keep pine needles and decorations on the tree. This year we have trialled an alternative approach, not using a real tree but instead, constructing one out of scaffold poles. This tree should prove to be weatherproof and will keep its shape and lights. Thank you to Mark Worth for erecting the tree.
