Land for Sale
The Council are planning to sell the three parcels of land in Combe Martin to the adjacent landowners, as they are no longer required for their original purpose (a riverside walk).
The Council plan to sell the “land to the south of the River Umber” parcel at market value to an adjacent land owner. The other two parcels will be sold to the adjacent land owners for a nominal value.
The Council are required to advertise their intention to sell this land in two consecutive weeks of a local newspaper. Any objections will be considered at the January meeting, at which point the sales will be confirmed and solicitors instructors.
Any objections should be sent to clerk@combemartin-pc.gov.uk with the subject “Land sales objection” by end of day Tuesday 6th January 2026.
